Bill (1955 - ), U.S. computer entrepreneur; full name William Henry Gates. He cofounded Microsoft, a computer software company. Overseas expansion and successful marketing of the MS-DOS and Windows operating systems for personal computers made the firm a leading multinational computer company by 1990. He became the youngest multibillionaire in U.S. history
